Fixative in glass bottle + 10 handmade pastel chalks in a wooden box with a wooden lid

Description

Sustainable fixative in glass bottle + 10 pastel chalks in carefully matched colors - based on pure and natural pigments. The pastel chalks have a very high pigment content and appear with the textural natural expression found only in natural materials. The pastel chalks are soft dry pastels and suitable for creating fades and fine transitions between the colors.

The pastel chalks are used on pastel or cardboard paper and fixed with a fixative. The pastel chalks can also be used with other techniques and materials such as chalk paint and gesso.

All the pastel chalks are handmade in our workshop at Stevns Klint and the chalks here are packed in a box made of mahogany leftover wood.

When you buy fixative from Chalk Copenhagen, no water is added to the product. That way, we can avoid adding allergenic preservatives. We have put all the natural and non-toxic ingredients in the bottle, and you just have to pour water in the bottle before use.

Fill the bottle with cold boiled tap water a few hours before using the product. Keep the drawing at a good distance (approx. 60 cm) and fix it with a thin, evenly distributed layer. Then keep the bottle cool and frost-free.
